Frederick Arts Council

The Frederick Arts Council has fostered the growth of the arts, artists and arts organizations through grant and scholarship programs, workshops and arts education forums, and advocacy.

The Cultural Arts Center of Frederick County is located at 15 West Patrick Street, directly across from the Weinberg Center, in historic downtown Frederick. The building, orginally a McCrory's dime store, was acquired by the Frederick Arts Council in 1998 for development as a community arts center. The office is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

The community bulletin board and brochure racks are a wonderful source of information about arts classes, activities, performances, auditions and events throughout the county and region.
