Frederick Keys Baseball

The Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays played an exhibition game at historic Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, New York on Monday, May 21. The Orioles, behind good performances from several Frederick Keys players won the game 13-7.

The Orioles started Scott Williamson who pitched a perfect first, followed by Frederick's Brandon Erbe who pitched 3 shutout innings, fanning six. Erbe was followed by Jason Berken, Dan Lonsberry, and Bob McCrory. Catcher Brian Bock drove in five runs with his pair of home runs, one of which was a grand slam, earning him the game's MVP honors.

Other Keys players included Jonathan Tucker (2 for 3), Jake Duncan (1 for 3) Blake Davis (1 for 4, a 2 run HR), Arturo Rivas (1 for 3) and Pete Maestrales (3 for 3, with a solo HR).

On August 15, 2007, the Counting Crows, LIVE, and Collective Soul will be performing at Harry Grove Stadium as part of "The Rock 'n Roll Triple Play Ballpark Tour."
